Holistic Learning for Job Inclusion of People with Intellectual Disabilities

About the Project

INCLUJOBS aims to tackle the labor gap that exists in people with intellectual disabilities; promoting the employability of this group through the development of training material for the three main actors involved: special educators, the Business sector and people with intellectual disabilities.

Objectives of the project

Provide the necessary knowledge to special educators to guide and accompany people with disabilities in this search for employment.

Raise awareness of the importance of inclusive employment in the business sector; through informative material about the capacities of people with intellectual disabilities and the benefits of this employability.

Give people with intellectual disabilities the tools and knowledge to seek and get a job in the economic sectors of Tourism, Manufacturing a New Technologies.

Create a digital space (Platform) of connection between the three actors involved resulting in an increase in the employability opportunities of people with intellectual disabilities.

AIJU

The Toy Industry Research Association (AIJU) is a private non-profit organization from ibi (Alicante), in Spain. His main focus in the user area is to carry out studies related to children, specializing in research, user requirements and validation with end user. This area conducts research based on information obtained from gaming centers, schools, educational centers, associations to help vulnerable people, consumer panels and epert panels.

AIS

The Austrian Association for Inclusive Society (AIS) is a non-governmental research organization based in Vienna, Austria, whose objective is to improve the situation of people who have social, educational (physical, sensoru, intellectual) disadvantages and disabilities in all areas of social, cultural and educational life.

Puzzle

Puzzle is a social enterprise founded in 2015 with the aim of bringing a breath of fresh air to the field of social care provision in Greece. They are inspired by the principles of social inclusion and equal and active participation of all people, and firmly believe that all members of the community have the right to respect, as well as equal treatment and opportunities to contribute, and are committed to taking action to make this vision a reality.
